DHARAMSHALA, Jan. 19: A young Tibetan woman named Tsedon from Nyemo County has reportedly died in Chinese custody, according to Dharamshala-based Tibet Times. Her family members were reportedly informed about her death nearly half a month later and were subsequently denied the opportunity to reclaim her body.
Tsedon was arrested by Chinese authorities of Nyemo County on December 26, 2023. Following her arrest, Tsedon’s family members were informed of her death in a hospital in Nyemo County on January 15, 2024.
An anonymous source inside Tibet told TT, “Her parents and relatives visited the local police station on the day of her arrest to inquire about the nature of charges levied against her. The local infrared informed them that Tsedon was arrested following a year-long investigation conducted on multiple bases.”
“Despite repeated requests from Tsedon’s family to return her body to them, the authorities have informed them that an autopsy is currently underway. The family was reportedly informed that Tsedon was rushed to the hospital after fainting in prison but, unfortunately, efforts to save her were unsuccessful,” the same source added.
However, according to the same source, there are strong suspicions that local authorities may have subjected Tsedon to severe torture during her detention, ultimately resulting in her death.
Death in detention is a common occurrence in Tibet under the totalitarian Chinese rule. Kangaroo courts, sham trials and custodial deaths are happening with impunity against Tibetans voicing dissent and striving for rights enshrined in the Chinese constitution.

Tibet is undergoing genocide since the Chinese invasion of Tibet in 1949/50. There are many burial grounds that have been discovered in many places in occupied Tibet. The Chinese communists were determined to wipe out the Tibetans in order to claim the land just like Israel is wiping out the Palestinians in order to claim their land once and for all. The Chinese communists committed mass executions of those who rebelled against their occupation. One well known place where mass murder took place is Amdo Golok. The Goloks are a fierce tribe and they have put up fierce resistance to Chinese occupation around 1954. As a result, the Chinese butchered the male population.it declined to such an extent that the ratio between male and female was four females for every single men!!! In some places there were hardly any males left among the population. There is footage of some of the Tibetan delegates who went to Tibetan areas in eastern Tibet. The delegation was either the one led by late Juchen Thubtan and Lobsang Samten or the delegation led by Jestsun Pema. The the footage clearly showed mostly women in attendance who came to see the Exile delegation! Murder and mayhem has been the order of the day under brutal Chinese occupation! The Chinese communist party is a truly evil bunch of thugs whose reign of terror has brought unimaginable misery to the Tibetan people and the nightmare continues unabated to this day. In the heart of this blood thirsty campaign is racism. The CCP is a racist entity much like South Afrikaners who treated the blacks with abject scorn and created the apartheid regime of racial segregation. Occupied Tibet is a vast ghetto where the ordinary Tibetan sre watched by the Chinese secret police in plain clothes while intimidating police in uniform patrols the streets like Hitler’s gestapos! They demonstrate their menacing attitude to the population to intimidate them in order to cower them to submission. They hate the Tibetans for being rebellious and want to punish them by killing them at point blank range or torture them to death! The Chinese gestapos are given unlimited powers to do as they like without any accountability because they regard occupied Tibet as a “frontier region” where the people living in the land are “uncivilized” according to the CCP criminal syndicate! All the murders, rape, poisoning, torture by the Chinese gestapos are sanitized as “civilizing the Tibetan barbarians”!!!! The Chinese gestapos, the PLA and secret police are the tools of occupation and oppression! It is the most surveilled place on earth. On every street, alleys, rooftops, shopping malls, street lights, traffic lights, roof of monasteries are cameras to monitor the Tibetans 24/7. Even private homes are bugged and monitored! A Tibetan man complains that the Chinese gestapos are monitoring him at all times and would not allow him even to say prayers! Saying prayers, visiting monasteries and meeting monks have been criminalized! Tibet is going through a total nightmare that the world refuses to see; blinkered as it were by their greed for profit! I feel extremely sorry for Tsedon the young girl who has been murdered by the Chinese gestapos! What has happened to the Jews during Adolf Hitler’s Nazi regime IS HAPPENING TO TIBETANS IN THE TWENTY-FIRST CENTURY!!! I feel angry towards the condescending world and I feel angry with our own exile outfit which seems to be doing nothing except suck up to the enemy who is sending our people to the torture chambers to be bludgeoned to death. How many Tibetans have to die before the CCP’s blood thirst is quenched?
Instead of cozying up to the CCP criminal syndicate, perhaps it’s time to do something that will put us in good stead for the long haul! You don’t win by being cowered. You win by fighting. All those rights of people across the world such as the black Americans rights, rights of women, indigenous peoples rights to ancestral land, language rights, equality of the sexes are won through fighting relentlessly for years and generations! Tibetans must fight and not lick the backside of the vile murderous gang and that too through armed struggle if the need arises. We have a proud history of martial chivalry in our history. We have waged war against the Chinese for two centuries until a peace treaty was signed between Tibetan emperor Tri Ralpachen and Chinese Tang Emperor Muzang in 822 AD!!! What happened to our chivalry? It is a total disgrace to remain in servitude to the enemy who has stolen our country. No power is invincible! The Israelis deluded themselves with so called “iron dome” security apparatus which was shown to be a cake walk by Hamas on 7th October!
The Burmese regime prided itself as a formidable military outfit until the rebellious people of Burma, spearheaded by college and school students have struck a thundering blow to the military junta whose armies are running scared and escaping into India’s Manipur! Tibetans should never forget our country and fight until they breath their last and bequeath the fight to our children to continue for generations! It is so shocking to see most Tibetans more concerned about creature comfort, social status and bickering among themselves than do anything to regain our country and free our benighted people from the chains of slavery, colonialism and butchery by the most despised regime on earth!
