CAMBRIDGE, United States – Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao was barracked by a sole pro-Tibet protestor as he delivered a speech at Harvard University at the end of an official, four-day US visit.

The protestor, a young American woman, interrupted Wen’s address by standing in the student audience, unfurling a Tibetan national flag and shouting “Free Tibet.”

When told by university officials to respect Wen’s right to speak, the woman shouted back that the Chinese government granted no such right to the people of Tibet.

After a brief hiatus, the protestor eventually left the auditorium under the watchful eye of security staff.

Wen appeared unphased by the interruption.

“Ladies and gentlemen, I will not be disrupted, because I am deeply convinced that the 300 million American people do have friendly feelings towards the Chinese people,” he said, before continuing with his speech.
