The Tibetan players of the world’s most popular sport received a major setback today when their European trip was cancelled. According to Voice of Tibet Radio Service, the trip had to be cancelled since the French Embassy in New Delhi denied visas to the players.

Tibetans Undertake Flood Relief in Kullu District
The Tibetan Welfare Office, Kullu Region, led a relief operation to help the victims of the recent flashflood at Kangni Nallah. Regional chapters of Tibetan Youth Congress and Tibetan Women’s Association also took part in this benevolent programme.
Sixth Dalai Lama’s Statue Found in Inner Mongolia Stupa
A gilded statue of the Sixth Dalai Lama, Tsangyang Gyatso, has been found in a stupa, which collapsed in Alashan in Inner Mongolia in July this year. The statue weighs around 25 kg (55 Pound) and is believed to be over 300 years old.
