DHARAMSHALA, July 29: China reiterated its familiar rhetoric on Monday, strongly opposing Czech President Petr Pavel’s meeting with Tibetan spiritual leader His Holiness the Dalai Lama and the President of the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA), Penpa Tsering, during his visit to India. Beijing condemned the engagement as a serious violation of its stated position and a blow to China-Czech bilateral relations.
President Pavel’s historic visit to Ladakh on Sunday, during which he expressed strong support for the Dalai Lama’s Middle Way Approach and the Tibetan people’s cultural and religious freedoms, marked the first time a sitting head of state has visited India specifically to meet the Tibetan leader.
A spokesperson for the Chinese Embassy in the Czech Republic issued a sharp rebuke, accusing President Pavel of disregarding “China’s solemn position and the overall China-Czech relationship.” The spokesperson further criticized the meeting with “Penpou Tseringem,” a likely reference to CTA President Penpa Tsering as an act taken in defiance of Beijing’s prior objections to Pavel’s India visit.
The embassy statement described the Dalai Lama as “a political exile who, under the guise of religion, engages in anti-China separatist activities,” adding that the spiritual leader “is by no means a mere religious figure.” It further accused the Dalai Lama of promoting the Middle Way Approach, a policy advocating genuine autonomy within China as a strategy to “carve out a ‘Greater Xizang’ covering one quarter of China’s territory,” which it claimed amounts to “de facto independence.” The spokesperson declared that such a proposal “has never existed historically” and would never be accepted by the Chinese government or people.
Quoting Global Times, China reiterated its long-standing position that “the Xizang region has been an integral part of China since ancient times” and that Tibetan affairs are “purely China’s internal affairs and allow no external interference.” The embassy also targeted the exile Tibetan administration, stating, “The so-called ‘Tibetan government-in-exile’ is an organized, programmatic separatist political body striving for independence and recognized by no country, including the Czech Republic.”
China called on the Czech government to “uphold its one-China policy, take effective measures to eliminate the adverse impact of this incident, and cease sending wrong signals to ‘Xizang independence’ forces.” It urged Prague to “safeguard the healthy and stable development of China-Czech relations.”
Meanwhile, the Czech presidential office clarified that President Pavel met the Dalai Lama “on a purely private trip” following the conclusion of an official visit to Japan. According to the statement, the meeting took place at the personal invitation of the Dalai Lama in celebration of his 90th birthday. “The President took the opportunity to separate from the delegation during his return from Japan to personally congratulate the Dalai Lama,” the office said, noting that no members of his official entourage accompanied him on the visit.

The CCP barks whenever world leaders meet HH The Dalai Lama! It is worried about the Dalai Lama’s ascendency on the world stage. The truth is, while the Dalai Lama is a much loved and highly respected world leader, the evil CCP is disliked and hated every where! It has become a rogue state and a pariah on the world stage. It spent all its GDP on building its military might yet it is as insecure as a mouse in a trap! Its notoriety in organ harvesting of live victims, incubating the Wuhan virus, aggression on its neighbours and bullying of Taiwan has made it the enemy number one of the international community! Its oppression of the Chinese people and its genocidal policies in occupied Tibet and East Turkistan has made it the modern day Nazi State. Now the CCP’s days are fast coming to an end like all fascists and dictators. Its economy is sluggish, the population is dwindling fast and it is predicted to be catastrophic demographic shift owing to falling birth rate and rapidly aging population. UN projection predict the population to drop from 1.4 billion in 2024 to 633 million by 2100! Millions of rich Chinese are fleeing the country with enormous amount of capital flight to foreign countries. The red emperor Xi is now without clothes as a fierce political struggle is raging among the communist elite. Even Xi the dictator, is said to have plans to flee China in the event of a cataclysmic seismic shift flamed by disquiet about the CCP and its failing leadership and discontent with unaccountability and systematic corruption in the CCP system. There is a report by the Hudson Institute about the sudden fall of the CCP called “AFTER THE FALL: PLANNING FOR A POST-COMMUNIST CHINA”. It clearly enunciates the ethnic strife that will ensue after the CCP’s collapse in occupied Tibet and East Turkistan. These two countries have been illegally and brutally occupied by communist China and seeks to exterminate its people like Nazi Germany did to the Jews. As the CCP gets more and more desperate to invade Taiwan, it’s getting even more hated around the world for its aggression and expansionist policy. The Dalai Lama is admired by the entire world as we saw the number of delegations from across the world who flocked to Dharamsala to celebrate his 90th birthday. For the first time prominent Indian leaders participated in the celebrations which was a taboo until now! There will be more world leaders who will come to seek his blessings and show support for the Tibetan people’s struggle for national independence. I have a strong feeling that LITHUANIA will show its support for Tibet sooner or later! (Apologies for getting it wrong in my previous letter). The Phayul reporters should not mention the Chinese colonial name for Tibet and instead simply write TIBET instead! Where is the need to publicise the Chinese name when you quote CCP statement in your report? The Chinese embassy DELIBERATELY MISSPELLED THE SIKYONG’S NAME BECAUSE THEY DON’T WANT TO ACKNOWLEDGE HIM!!! Did you know that? You have to play hard ball with the CCP. They are looking down upon us and you guys want to show respect to them? When they try to erase us, you are still unaware of the gravity of the situation! If you don’t want Bhutan, Indian reporters and Nepali reporters to use the Chinese nomenclature for Tibet, why are you quoting the Chinese name for Tibet verbatim as per the Chinese propaganda??? By so doing, you are legitimising the Chinese name to the world!!!
