Dalai Lama condoles Indian guru Sai Baba’s death

Dharamsala,April 25: Tibetan spiritual leader His Holiness the Dalai Lama Monday condoled the death of Sri Sathya Sai Baba, saying he was a “respected spiritual leader”.

“I am saddened by the passing away of Sri Sathya Sai Baba, the respected spiritual leader,” the Dalai Lama said in his message of condolence.

“I would like to convey my condolences and prayers to all the followers, devotees and admirers of the late spiritual leader,” the Nobel Peace Laureate added.

Sathya Sai Baba, a Hindu guru who was considered a holy man by millions of followers the world over, died Sunday after a prolonged illness in Andhra Pradesh’s Puttaparthi town at the age of 85.
