Spanish Delegation conclude Dharamsala visit

Dharamsala: A 23-member Spanish delegation, consisting of judges, members of the Spanish Parliament, lawyers, doctor, tourism director and reporters, paid a visit to Dharamsala from 30 November to 4 December.

The aim of their visit is to know the fact about the Tibetan issue and to convey the right information to their own people when they returned to their homeland.

The delegates also wished to extend financial assistance to the Tibetan non-governmental organizations.

The delegates visited Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile and discussed the issue of Tibet with Deputy Speaker Dolma Gyari.

They expressed their deep concern about the prevailing critical situation inside Tibet.

The delegates also met with senior officials of the Central Tibetan Administration, visited Tibetan NGOs, the Library of Tibetan Works & Archives and the Tibet Museum.
