Dharamshala, February 4 – The secretary for the Finance Department of the Central Tibetan Administration will accompany the founding members of the Tibetan Chamber of Commerce during their private audience of His Holiness the Dalai Lama in New Delhi.
During the audience, the Finance Department secretary Sonam Topgyal Khorlotsang, will give a brief report on the purposes of this association and introduce the founding members of the association to His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
Welfare Society Tibetan Chamber of Commerce, the first association of Tibetan businessmen, has been registered under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 at the Registrar of Societies, Delhi, on 7 October 2005.
The Welfare Society Tibetan Chamber of Commerce functions independently of the Finance Department.
