India Tibet Coordination Office (ITCO) organized the second meeting of Steering Committee of the Indian Core Group for Tibetan Cause in Delhi on November 23, 2003.
It was the first meeting of the newly formulated Steering Committee of ICGTC mandated by All India Tibet Support Groups Conference held in Chandigarh September 2003.
This whole day meeting had a discussion and deliberation in length regarding the ways to implement the All India TSG Conference Action Plan and follow-up action to the 4th International TSG Conference in Prague. 11 Point programme of various activities to build greater awareness on the issue of Tibet among Indian masses and to mobilize their support were adopted in the meeting .
The meeting also decided to lunch year 2004 as a “Tibet Year” on January 22, 2004 in the presence of H.H. the Dalai Lama.
Apart from National Convener, Co-conveners and Conveners of the regions the meeting was also attended by Chief Kalon Prof. S. Rinpoche, Mr. Tashi Wangdi Representative Bureau of H.H. the Dalai Lama, Mr. Penpa Tsering Executive Director TPPRC.
