A group of Tibet supporters gathered at the Peace Cafe in Mcleod Ganj, to conduct a frank and informal discussion on Tibet to the visiting tourists. The day-long session attracted lots of people who had till then not heard much about some of the most pressing issues on Tibet.

Dr Delbray, an ardent supporter of the Tibet cause, took the initiative with help from Friends of Tibet, India and Students for a Free Tibet, Dharamsala. The open forum was organised to address the urgency and the need for a peaceful resolution of the issue before its too late.

Besides carrying out informal discussions, the organisers also engaged in completing several banners to campaign for the release of the XIth Panchen Lama Gendun Choekyi Nyima. The banners were later put up at different locations in and around the town.
