JOB ANNOUNCEMENT: The Tibet Fund (TTF) is currently recruiting a Program Finance and Administration Coordinator. TTF (www.tibetfund.org) is a nonprofit organization that supports Tibetan communities in South Asia.

POSITION TITLE: Program Finance and Administrative Coordinator

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Program Finance and Administration Coordinator will support senior management in overseeing and supporting all financial administration and operations related to The Tibet Fund’s programs in India and Nepal, in particular the USAID funded Tibetan Self Reliance and Resilience Program and PRM funded Program for Protection and Humanitarian Assistance. S/he will report to the TTF Vice President and Deputy Program Director and work closely with TTF field staff and partner organizations.

COMPENSATION: Competitive salary and benefits commensurate with qualifications and experience.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong accounting experience, Tally and Excel skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Results-oriented self-starter with ability to learn quickly and take initiative
  • English and Tibetan language fluency
  • Prior office administration or personnel management experience a plus

JOB ANNOUNCEMENT: The Tibet Fund (TTF) is currently recruiting a Gender and Culture Program Officer. TTF (www.tibetfund.org) is a nonprofit organization that supports Tibetan communities in South Asia.

POSITION TITLE: Gender and Culture Program Officer

POSITION DESCRIPTION:  The Gender and Culture Program Officer will support TTF management in overseeing the gender and culture components of Tibetan Self Reliance and Resilience Program (TSRR) in India and Nepal. TSRR is an eight-year USAID funded program that is beginning Phase III of implementation. The Program Officer will assist in preparing annual work plans, updating pipeline budgets, and ensuring important lessons feed into program planning and decision making at the strategic level. S/he will conduct site visits, interact with beneficiaries, and have primary responsibility for monitoring, evaluating, learning, and reporting on all gender and culture component activities, both to inform adaptive management decisions and to meet donor requirements. The Program Officer will report to the TTF Vice President and Deputy Program Director and work closely with TTF field staff and partner organizations.

  • Prior monitoring and evaluation experience
  • Prior experience working on gender equity, women empowerment, and/or culture preservation projects

  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • English and Tibetan language fluency
