Kalon Tripa accepts resignations of the Dalai Lama’s Envoys
In a major turn of events, Kalon Tripa Dr Lobsang Sangay has accepted the resignations of Special Envoy of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, Lodi G. Gyari and Envoy Kelsang Gyaltsen.

His Holiness the Dalai Lama presenting Geshe Lhakdor, Director of the Library of Tibetan Works and Archives with a ‘Certificate of Respect and Appreciation’ on behalf of the Emory University, Atlanta, Georgia for his “extraordinary leadership and coordination.” Under the Emory Tibet Science Initiative, a joint collaboration of the Library and the University, the first batch of Tibetan monks and nuns this year completed a first of its kind five-year course in maths, neuroscience, biology and physics.
