New York – A self-taught aspiring Artist from Dharamsala, for the first time unveils his exotic contemporary Tibetan paintings at the Cornell University in New York. The work of Artist was introduced in Cornell University Library by Mr. Ted Arnold and Ms. C. J. lances on the evening of 4th of October.
Migmar’s work of art depicts his various figurative painting developed over a period of several years. He is one of the pioneers in this form of contemporary Tibetan arts which are inspired by unique Tibetan and Himalayan culture with vibrant spiritual themes and Tibetan life in exile.
Migmar said “his works reveals ‘Human Value’ develops within each individuals inner world, based on emotional and physical well being not necessarily with religious faith, but as secular ethics such as warm-heartedness and sense of human compassion.”
The exhibition is from 4th to 18th of October at Cornell University Library.
His next exhibition will be seen as group exhibition entitled “ Reflection” by Art In Exile Association at Dharamsala starting from 17th to 30th of October 07.
By profession, Migmar is a contemporary Tibetan artist and a Freelance cartoonist for one of the Tibetan Weekly Newspaper called Bod-Kyi-Bang-Chen, the Tibetan Express.
