46th Tibetan National Uprising day observed in Meerut

Antarashtrya Bharat Tibbat Sahyog Samiti headed by Shri Kulbushan Bakshi ji, Co-Convener of Core Group organised a meeting in Meerut to commemorate 46th Tibetan National Uprising day.

The meeting had congregation of more than hundred people including few Tibetans.

Dr N K Trikha National Convener of Core Group chaired the meeting. Former Union Minister Shri Satya Prakash Malviya visited as special guest, other renowned persons present at the meeting were 98 years old Shakuntala Devi and Dr KC Gupta ji.

The meeting began with the Tibetan and Indian National Anthem.

While welcoming every participants Shri Kulbushan Bakshi said, ” Continous support is required to raise the issue of Tibet rather than gathering twice in a year 10th March and 10th December.”

The chief guest of the meeting Dr N K Trikha spoke for around one hour on the issue of Tibet, describing the statement of HH the Dalai lama on 46th National Uprising day.

He spoke on the various issues including, Tibet’s environment and its effect to India and other neighbouring countries, ongoing Railway line built up in Tibet its threat to India’s Security.

Shri Satya Prakash Malviya assured that Tibetan will definitely achieve their goal under the guidance of HH the Dalai lama.

Other speakers were 98 years old Smt Shakuntala ji and Kuntan ji.

India Tibet Coordination Office distributed its Tibet related pamphlets and HH the Dalai lama’s statement among the participants.
