Israeli organization brings 50 Tibetans to the Arava for agriculture training
The Israeli Friends of Tibetan People (IFTIP) is bringing 50 Tibetans to the Arava in southern Israel for agriculture training next month.The Arava Project is a unique agricultural training program offered in cooperation with the Moshavim (agricultural settlements) of the Northern Arava.

Wen Jiabao’s motorcade was yelled with slogans and chants by the Tibetans at opposite side of the Waldorf Astoria Hotel where he is staying. A group of people from SFT sneeked into the Welcoming Chinese group where the Tibetan flag was thrown while Wen Jiabao greeted his supporters.
