Duran Duran Supports Calls for Nyidon’s Release

According to the website of Amnesty International (USA) pop group Duran Duran’s “78-03” USA tour this autumn will circulate a petition demanding the release of Phuntsok Nyidon, a Tibetan nun currently incarcerated at Drapchi Prison, Lhasa, the Tibetan capital.

Set up Tibetan varsity, Mann asks PM

Mr Simranjit Singh Mann, MP and President of the Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar), has made a strong plea to the Centre for setting up a Tibetan university in the country in the light of the recent Delhi Declaration.
