24 hour protest hunger-strike in Bombay
A Tibetan refugee living in India holds a placard condemning the recent execution of a Tibetan, during a 24 hour protest hunger-strike in Bombay January 31, 2003. The hunger-strikers were protesting against the execution of Lobsang Dhondup, convicted by China of setting off bombs and inciting terrorism. Despite protests from international rights groups, Dhondup was executed on Sunday.
