Tibetan Schools in Nepal achieve 100% pass in Class X Board exams

Dharamsala, August 17: Tibetan schools in Nepal this year have recorded 100% pass percentage in Class X Board exams, the result of which was decalred as early as July 2, according to a report on the official website of the Tibet’s government in exile.

According to information received from the department of education, Namgyal Higher Secondary School has obtained a pass percentage of 100%. Out of the 62 students who appeared in the exam, 55 passed with first division and seven obtained second division.

Songsten Bhrikuti Boarding High School in Kathmandu has also achieved 100% pass percentage. Out of 40 students, one achieved distinction, 33 got first division and the remaining six are in second division.

Similarly, SOS Hermann Gmeiner High School in Pokhara in Western Nepal has also recorded a 100% pass rate.

A total of 412,592 students reportedly appeared in this year’s Class X exams in Nepal, out of which 247,689 passed. The country’s overall pass percentage was 64.31%.
