After successfully blocking Mr Hu Jintao’s motorcade enroute to Chinese Embassy from the Palam Airport last evening, Over 10 Tibetan activists of Tibetan Youth Congress today, stormed the Hyderabad House, near India Gate as Mr Hu arrived there for an official meeting with Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
At around 11.55 am, this morning, as the Chinese President Hu Jintao arrives at Hyderabad House after an official ceremonial reception at Rashtrapati Bhavan by the President of India and a visit to Rajghat, 10 Tibetan activists in batches of twos and threes stormed Hyderabad House where Mr Hu was having official meeting with Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. The activists who were mostly from Dharamshala and Delhi broke the heavy security arrangement of nearly a thousand security personals and raced towards the Main Gate of the House and shouted anti-china slogans and displayed Tibetan National Flag. The attacks continued for over two hours outside the Hyderabad House with the last batch storming the House at 1.25pm.
The sudden attack and the demonstration by the Tibetans activists took everyone including the security forces; protocol officials and the huge media delegation by surprise and the commotions created by the patriotic fervour and emotions of the young activists captured the attention of everyone around. All the activists were later caught and detained in the nearby Police Station. The demonstration, which is the first against Mr Hu Jintao at the VVIP enclave, was caught on the cameras by all major national and international news channel and print media.
With the terrible and bloody achievement records, surpassing world’s greatest killer like Hitler and Stalin, it is but natural that the World’s Most repressive country’s head, Mr Hu Jintao will receive no better reception except condemnation, rejection and protests the world over. Hu is a killer in disguise and we the Tibetans will mirror his true identity to him and the world wherever he goes. We will not allow him to fool the world with his deceptions and maneuverings. We are in no doubt that many more direct protest actions against Mr Hu will follow the present ones.
Tibetan Youth Congress, while strongly condemning the visit of Chinese President Hu Jintao to India, firmly believes that Government of India, while dealing with Chinese delegates, will not take any measure that may go against the historical truth and the aspiration of the six million Tibetans living in and out of Tibet.
We strongly condemn the visit to India of the world’s leading Autocrat, Mr Hu Jintao.
