The Kalachakra Organizing Committee wishes to announce that persons planning on attending the teachings in Toronto in the spring of 2004 and who require visas for Canada must apply for them on their own. The organization regrettably is in no position to assist in any way with visa applications.
His Holiness the Dalai Lama will be conducting the Kalachakra initiation in Toronto from April 25 to May 5, 2004 at the invitation of the Canadian Tibetan Association of Ontario-a not-for profit group based in Toronto that represents the interests and concerns of the approximately 3,000 Tibetans living in this province. The Kalachakra Organizing Committee has been established by the Tibetan Association with members drawn from the local Tibetan community.
In anticipation of the several thousand Tibetans and other Buddhists and Tibet supporters gathering in Toronto for this auspicious occasion, the organizing committee will also host a series of cultural events, a public talk and an interfaith service during that period.
