Dear fellow Tibetans,

It is an honor for the Tibetan Youth Congress of New York and New Jersey to introduce themselves to Mr. Mark Handelman, Executive Vice President of New York Association of New Americans who has championed and helped the Tibetans to preserve the meltiing culture. We on behalf of Tibetans from New York and New Jersey in particular and the rest in general thanked and expressed our gratitude for helping the Tibetans in every manner possible and for the very dedidation of helping everyone in times to come.

Having offered scarves and the Book by His Holiness The Dalai Lama titled Freedom in Exile was very appropriate with the mission NYANA has been uplifting. We urged him to continue with his compassion in helping the immigrants whose lives changes yet remains firm on their own cultures. Believing in America many people of diversed nations whether or not Free from any oppressions have shown the world the integrity of living together with multitudes of ethnicity. One of the pillar built was of NYANA’s efforts and it is clearly shown even by the Tibetans themselves.

We the executive members sought his ideas, ethics and help to build our Tibetan Community. He confided us in giving assistance to the best of his knowledge and capacity which gave us the morale boost to shoulder our responsibility. We promised him that we will keep our faith, culture and religion which will distinct ourselves from rest of the world. Having said that we gave our proposals which highlights in helping our community with aspirations on perspiring our aims and objectives.

We have enclosed the letter of gratitude and a group pictures taken with him. Mr Mark Handelman is standing right in the middle.
