“Save Tibet, Save Humanity” – Non Co-operation Movement against china

Dharamsala, June 4: After a month-long campaign for Tibet in Europe, Dr Mahesh Yadav, an ardent blood campaigner for Tibet’s cause, has initiated series of other activities for the just cause of Tibet beginning with a four-day worldwide non-cooperation movement against China in Bhopal from June 19 to 20.

Dr Yadav says that his initial four-day Dharna is to mobilise support for Tibetan cause.

Again on July 1 in Bhopal, Dr Mahesh launched boycott of Chinese goods by burning Chinese made goods. The campaign as part of the Non Cooperation movement against China is intended to last till the Chinese government frees Tibet and respects and implements International Law in China.

He is set to campaign for ‘Boycott of Chinese made Goods’ throughout India and, for that Mr Mahesh is expected to reach Dharamsala today where he will draw 72 portraits of His Holiness The Dalai Lama with his blood, as a tribute for the Tibetan leader’s non-violence movement.

From Dharamsala, he will carry on with his campaign at Manali and then to Ladakh. All along the way he will also be taking shots for his upcoming documentary film.

Dr Yadav is currently working on a documentary “My Ideal His Holiness the Dalai Lama”, which he intends to release on the eve of birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi on October 2 later this year.

The UN had earlier announced its decision to observe Gandhi Jayanti as ‘International Non-Violence Day’ and, Dr Yadav believes releasing the documentary movie which highlights the Tibetan issue on the day perfectly befitting.

Dr. Mahesh Yadav is the founder and convener of Mahatma Gandhi Global Amity Council India, and its members joined him for the Dharna in New Delhi.

Earlier on June 21 and 22, Dr Yadav and his colleagues staged a sit-in protest (Dharna) at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi themed “Save Tibet, Save Humanity.”

The group led by Dr Yadav says that the Dharna was concluded on June 22 by submitting a five-point memorandum to embassies of 101 countries in Delhi.

Dr Yadav and his group had also submitted the memorandum to the President of India, Prime Minister of India and UN office in New Delhi.

Following are the five demands of the “Five point proposal Memorandum and Support World-wide Non-Cooperation Movement against China for the sake of ‘Save Tibet-Save Humanity’ submitted by Dr Yadav:

– Creating of Tibet into a Place for Heaven of Peace on Earth

– Immediate Release of H. H. Panchen Lama

– Cancellation of 2008 Olympic Games in China

– Saving of the Earth’s environment and not letting the China to make life on Earth hear the death knell

– Pressuring China to Stop Sponsoring Terrorism
