The Melbourne Tibetan Community of Australia celebrated 68th Birthday of His Holiness The Dalai Lama with the Australia Tibet Council and Tibet Welfare Group on Sunday July 6 at the Petrie Community Hall of Montmorency.

HH’s 68th Birthday celebrated in Paris

His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s birthday was celebrated with much joy and gusto in Paris. As usual it was jointly organised at the Pagoda, Bois de Vincennce, by the Tibetan Comunity in France and the Bureau du Tibet, on July 6.

Tibetans laud Sino-Indian joint statement

Taking a positive view of Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee’s recent visit to China, the Tibetan government-in-exile has said the joint statement issued during the visit should be accepted as an effort towards peace in Asia which will also lead to peace in Tibet.
