Pro-Tibet activists have called for more Indian pressure on China to release two Tibetans facing execution for their alleged involvement in bomb blasts.
Tensin Deleg Rinpoche, a 52-year-old monk, and Lobsang Dhondup, a 28-year-old activist, were handed death sentences last month for an April bomb attack in the Sichuan capital Chengdu which killed one person and injured another, as well as two explosions in the Ganzi region.
Rinpoche has maintained his innocence.
President of the Indo-Tibetan Friendship Union, R.P. Singh, says the Indian government must ensure their freedom by holding talks with China.
