THREE-DAY SPECIAL TEACHING BY GESHE LHAKDOR LA

As requested by a group of people from Peru, Argentina, Switzerland and Kuwait, Geshe Lhakdor la, the Director of the Library of Tibetan Works & Archives (LTWA), is giving a three-day teaching on Lama Tsongkhapa's The Condensed Meaning of the Stages of the Path (Lam-rim bsdus-don) or A Song of Experience ( Lam-rim nyams-mgur). Those who are interested can also join the teaching and register at the main office at the Library.
The English translation of the text is available at the LTWA publication sales under the title The Essence of Superfine Gold translated by Dr. Chok Tenzin Monlam.

Texts: Vasubandhu's Treasury of Knowledge (Abhidharmakosha , Chos ngon pa'i mdzod); Maitreya's Ornament for Clear Realizations (Abhisamayalamkara , mNgon par rtogs pa'i rgyan ); Maitreya's Sublime Continuum ( Mahayanottaratantrashastra, Theg pa chen po'i rgyud bla ma'i bstan bcos)
Following the above-mentioned texts, the teaching will outline how the disposition for enlightenment is perceived by the Vaibhashika, Sautrantika, Chittamatra and Madhyamika schools of philosophy. The presentation of Buddha nature, which shows the fundamentally pure nature of our minds and our innate disposition for enlightenment, is a profoundly and uniquely optimistic aspects of the Buddha's teaching.

Note: Dates and times may change due to scheduled or unscheduled public teachings given by His Holiness the Dalai Lama. If possible, such changes will be announced in advance. The topic may also change when required. There will be no classes on the second and fourth Saturday of every month or on Sundays and other official holidays.
