Sherab Guo-Yuthok aged 14 and Emma Dolma Guo aged 10 are Tibetan borther and sister who are well known chess players in Australia. Sherab first learnt to play chess from his father Lama Choedak Rinpoche and then taught to his sister. They have both won many tournaments and open chess championships throughout Australia. Emma Dolma, known as "Chess Queen" is the current under 12 Australian girl's champion, she has recently won a trophy at the Australian Junior Championship in Mt Buller 12-22 December 2004.
In November, Sherab and Emma represented Australia and competed at the World Junior Championship held in Greece 15-30 November and also at the World Youth Championship in Singapore 26 November -7 December 2004. They were both nominated to represent Australia to compete at World Junior Chess championship. Sherab and Emma are probably first Tibetans ever to compete in such an international event. Sherab and Emma were born and live in Canberra, Australia.
