London, July 2: Exile Tibetan activist and poet Tenzin Tsundue, and the national co-ordinator of Students for a Free Tibet's India chapter Tenzin Choeying are currently half way through their ten-day visit to the UK.

Following an amazing week at SFT Free Tibet! Action camp in Germany, the two India-based exile Tibetan activists came to London with SFT UK members and have been having a busy time in the capital. Events have included attending a special forum of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Tibet; meetings with Tibet Society UK, SFT UK, Office of Tibet, Tibet Foundation and Free Tibet Campaign; attending a talk by Jung Chang and Jon Halliday about their biography of former Chinese helmsman Mao Zedong; and a public talk at Pogo Café. Joined by Pablo from Tibetan Youth Association Europe, Tsundue and Choeying were also instrumental in helping organise and participate in the SFT UK, Tibetan Youth UK and Free Tibet Campaign protests against GW travel (who are selling tours on the Gormo-Lhasa railway) and outside the Chinese embassy on July 1st.

Events planned for the next week include speaking at a Rangzen forum organised by Tibetan Youth UK, presenting a witness testimony for the Spanish lawsuit investigating genocide in Tibet, running a workshop on Tibetan activism at People and Planet's Summer Gathering and a visit to Edinburgh where Tsundue will be meeting with members of the Scottish Parliament, poets and Tibet supporters.
