The Freedom Torch arrived from Denmark to Oslo, Norway on Saturday, May 3rd. A boat decorated with prayer flags brought it to the new Norwegian Opera house by the sea. Around 150 people joined the relay including the members from East Turkistan community of Norway. It was carried through Karl Johan, Oslo's main street and concluded at the Nobel Peace Center. Hundreds of monks and nuns of Voluntary Peace Movement of Dharamsala Sangha Community held a peace march from Samata Sthal (opposite Rajghat) to Jantar Mantar in New Delhi on 13th April 2008.
