It is not only the Canada is being spied by China. China is keep on spying almost all the western countries for their military advancement because China has the mentality of "Great China" and today Chinese youth hope and wish that their country will the super-power in 20 or so years. This debate and expression on internet clearly shows China's bigger aim behind the so called Trade.

The West should provide aid to poor African countries to contain HIV/AIDS and hunger but not provide fuel to the Totalitarian regime like China and Pakistan nation which is breading ground for terrorism.

as a french-born, I am ashamed that no politician here dares to open his voice against the chinese lobby.
Worst, our president wants Europe to resume public arms sales to China - privately, China is going to sale Z9 helcopter gunships (actually french Dolphin II made under licence) to Pakistan- see today's (dec 31st) indian newspapers....
An older one is that, it is a french company (Thompson) that sold the video control system of Tiananmen square- after embargo
As for spies, we heard a lot about KGB, but nothing on its chinese counterparts- they can act quietly and undisturbed
Actually France lost often money in deals with China, the taxpayer money covers the cost... all that for infatuated policians' pride
Real Shame on us

This Chinese regime is cruel and suspicious as ever. It is high time to find their espionage activities, the government of Canada should take strong actions that would teach them a good lesson to be remenbered forever, otherwise, these bloody and cruel PRO will keep on playing this dirty game.

Wake up and act on time.

Bod-Gyalo!
