Yes, HHDL has accepted that Tibet will be part of China. WAKE UP NOW if that notion is hard to accept before it is too late. It was said at one time that the final decision will be that of the Tibetan people, I don't hear it anymore.

Lets us not live in a fool's paradise and think that one day we will go back to the country of our own without any hindrance from Chinese. This will never happen and if we continue to be such narrow minded then instead of being able to preserve our cultural identity and Tibetaness, we might get lost in the great globalisation that is taking everywhere. China is a great and a very powerful country. His Holiness knows it and so do Samdong Rinpoche. That is the reason why they have accepted that tibet is a part of China. And that if an autonomy is granted then we are ready to come back and be a part of them. I don't think the high authorities would concede that in public and but that is what it is. And lets accept that and not be stubborn. Moreover this is the only way by which we can conserve and preserve our rich cultural identity. Tibetans are already taking the cultural identity of their host country so the sooner we accept the fact and do something about it the better it will be for our identity which is fast becoming history.

Dalai Lama did accept Tibet to be part of China but His Holliness is asking for genuine autonomy to preserve the unique Tibetan culture and traditions. I've always thought of it as this way unless one can tell me otherwise.

I think the one who composed the article is out of his mind. His Holiness never accepted Tibet as a part of China. He accepts complete autonomy in order to preserve the dying Tibetan heritage. The article should be corrected by letting the webmaster before it becomes too public.
