A PATH AHEAD TO SAFE TIBET

Bravo Trio!!! Hats off to you! We owe an ode to the courageous initiative of our three of you in absolute disregard of your lives- braving heat, wind and coldness in the open air!!! You have indeed stroke the right nod in letting your conscience decision to prevail. In the sense that we can not be taken for a ride repeatedly with elusive assurance without addressing what is expressed for action by responsible heads of states- rather than bouquet presentation of commitment.

The situation stands out in sharp relief against us - and in the eclipse of this we have been the most misunderstood people among the species of human being. In view of this, we need to revitalize and go ahead with our movement in a virile way – such as this persistently so as to give hiccup to the responsible head of states and make effort to come round to our cause. As it entails dedication of human lives, systematic line up of program for movement to be continued as long as the purpose for which we stood is not achieved.

Is it now the revitalization of our movement in earnest, after all what is said and done so far? If it is so, then it is never too late to keep abreast with the situation in countering the mutilation process of our nation, process of snuffing out its high profiled personalities, and subjecting our contemporary generation in their diabolical design to gradually erase one kind of human race of this planet!. The ways ahead are fraught with snares and pitfalls that we six millions need to take in our stride if we are to make headway.

The process of dialogue or middle path process is appreciable and worth pursuing keeping in view of geopolitical scenario. On the other hand, activities of hunger strike as such, initiated by the youth can not be brushed aside as detrimental to the path- as it in fact speaks volume as factor to be taken hint by our counterpart. The movement such as this had its precedence set by the very messiah of non-violence – Mahatma Gandhi as he underwent once. Rather, it should be given a signal as an instrument in the parameter of the process to lend leverage for the dialogue wherein the question of stopping elimination design as such of high profiled personalities and luminaries be envisaged as well. What we aspire and pursue is for the long haul- Free and secured Tibet; and we should not get belied in the political expediency of others in burying the cause rather than finding meritorious solution

look at our brothers and sister, dying in frant of UN for the destiny of 6 million tibetan people. They are turlly a living sacrifice. I want to encourage each one of tibetan, not to hold back hope to yourself, take examples of our hero and do something. We deserve rights and freedom, but we should sum up our courage and fight for it with degnity, national proud. We ought to die for it if needed, once in a life. Only does such courage lead us to the final freedom.

As I read the daily updates on these brave young men and woman, I am moved beyond words. This is a fight for freedom in front of the U.N. Let us see if the U.N. chooses the side of violence and a peacful movement. It will also show us the hypocrisy of this world body.
Long live our struggle for INDEPENDENCE.

Dear Tibetan friends,

The number of Tibetans at the site is still not encouraging. Please come and support. See what you can do. Help distribute flyers, speak to those who stand in amazement and look at hunger strikers. Explain why they are sitting in hunger strike. It seems only couple people are spokesperson. I guess anyone else can do but, get the facts and the right information first. Give the right information and the wrong. if You don't know ask the TYC President, Jigme la, Tsultrim la, Acha Dechen Tsomo la or ask RTYC Kunga la and the rest of the executive members of RTYC of NY/NJ. Call your friends to be there. Everyone's presence makes a huge difference. If we could show up with three to four thousands or more than it definitely make a difference. Let's change.

Thank you,
Dhondup
