Readers' Comments on "Semshook : Lathi Charge and Dal-Roti"
We were ready to jump, all 48 of us "mostly young Tibetans, some elders too" ready to pounce at the Chinese Embassy in Delhi. We waited with baited breath, lying low, communicating in signals and whispers on mobile phones....

Subject: Creative ideas to make the world listen to us!

I've always been up for participating in hunger strikes, rallies etc but i'm coming to a point where i'm increasingly becoming disillusioned.

The Canadian Prime Minister is afraid to meet up with Kundun.

The media doesn't want to cover our struggle coz it's too, unfortunately, boring--non dramatic...always the same chants, rallies etc..

Yes i totally agree--we need more creativity from the younger folks infused in our political activities.

Nobody cares bout us coz we don't have no oil--nothing! What we need to do is create tactics that will affect people/country monetarily$$$, only then will they pay attention..

lets think of ways to make the world pay attention more creatively while being non-violent..perhaps start a hackers incorporated =)

well, u have rightly said.,we need to build up a a more creative way to show cause our causeto the world. the usual protest rallies have so common these days that it hardly hits the bulls eye.
recently on this 45th uprising day too i felt the same thing.
we went aroud the town fro a usual peace rally, the so called non violent action .and then we found ourselves moving around the market and having fun . this is the situation.its high time we do something lest we should our country and our love "TIBET ". its only u who can do something for this just cause .a new initiative you take and i will be with you with all my heart , body ,mind and soul.you know me right?
