TYC Centrex has absolute authority to discipline local chapters who fail to abide by the bylaws & regulations of TYC. In this case RTYC NY/NJ abandoned one of TYC's central tenets, the pursuit of Tibetan independence, and made false allegations against TYC. Local chapters may be autonomous on certain matters but can't unilaterally alter the core goals/bylaws/regulations of TYC. TYC is an independent NGO & has the right to set its own membership criteria. One of those criteria is a commitment to Rangzen. TYC can expel members who disavow Rangzen just as any Ume Lam group can expel members who don't support Ume Lam. In future local elections, TYC mus make sure only TYC members vote for the local chapter board.

800 people but no any question for TYC or their agenda how to gain Tibetan Independent. Empty word is enough as far as I expect. How come there no any question or answer from public, not even one, at least with this article. Democratic system must be built by people according with will of people.

Subject: TYC centrex action.

I think the action teken by TYC Centrex to close temporarily the RTYC New York and NJ is justified, I saw the video of the 10th March protest and I think these people are unaware that TYC is an NGO organisation, which can have different ways to achieve our ultimate goal of lessening the sufferings for our brothers and sisters who are under the ruthless Chinese occupation of our country. I also think all the Tibetan youths should unite even they have different opinions to achieve our goal.
