It has been said that the Chinese leaders have lifted the ban on worshipping the Dalai Lama as a religious symbol. The proof came. To the Tibetans who do it, the Chinese police shoot in the head.

After all the concessions, ie. abandoning democracy for Tibet and conceding to Chinese communist rule, the agreement to heavy Chinese military presence in Tibet, the TYC retracting from the path of a free Tibet, etc This is what we get back from the Chinese. Where does this new level of unprovoked violence leave the possibility of dialogue with Chinese?
