Subject: Why democracy for the world but not Tibet?

Very good speech & Kelsang Gyaltsen had done a lot of public service for the Tibetan people & championed the cause for Tibetan freedom.

However, it is paradoxical when a CTA official talks about the values of democracy and how all people aspire for democracy, but the CTA itself is no longer seeking democracy for Tibet as part of the Middle Way Proposal.

Why do all people deserve democracy but not Tibetans? Why is democracy good in othe countries but not in Tibet?

When the CTA gave up democracy as a condition of the Middle Way, they gave up genuine autonomy and freedom for the Tibetan people. Without democracy, there is no way to protect people's rights or to protect a state's autonomy. One-party states do not work and Tibet should not be governed by the Communist Party. Please urge the CTA to re-instate democracy as a central condition of the Middle Way.
