Thanks for asking me to explain my statement about Tibet and its description as "ONE NATION." I am using this term to bring into discussion the US Policy of "ONE CHINA." United States accepts in principle and supports the policy of Republic of China and its goal of "ONE CHINA." Compared to Tibet, Republic of China or Taiwan is a small territory and People's Republic of China, a great military power cannot dare to use its military might to occupy it against the will of Taiwan. I want United States and the rest of the world to give the same protection to Tibet and defend it against military occupation. Tibetan people must control their own destiny and statehood.

Subject: Clear the facts - Nation or Autonomous

Hello Rudra,
Yes, “There is a lot of confusion of the central issue”. When you write “TIBET IS ONE NATION” are you stating that Tibet is ONE nation independent of any other?
OR are you stating that it is a one nation-state (?) with ALL 3 PROVINCES wanting to be autonomous under protection of Mother China? Can you make clear your stand?

Tibet Support Groups must clearly speak about Tibetan national identity. There is a lot of confusion on this central issue. To solve the problem in Tibet, we have to recognize a basic fact; "TIBET IS ONE NATION."

Subject: honour those who have died

Never mind about memorial halls and photos of those who have died for this struggle. There could be no higher honour bestowed upon those fearless brothers and sisters and all the millions of Tibetans who have died than for the CTA finally standing up for freedom and and the rightful return of our country. Think what a huge morale boost it would give to those who remain in Tibet, on the front line of Tibetan will to survive and who keep the only real flame of truth burning, despite the horrors of living under Chinese rule.
