about being Cacooned etc etc

Assangala, Your original comment conveyed the very same sentiment I shared. I wanted to reiterate IT by giving u the credit for your info on the ‘dharamsala heavy weights’ etc…. so excuse the missed word. I think the ‘pooh paahed’ would have revealed the same too. Tashi deleg and u have a good day then.

Hello Fortitude,
Would you be kind enough to revisit my post and quote me correctly? The core word " wrong" is missing or did you omit it?

“There was a time when some of our Dharamsala heavy weights pooh-poohed UN as useless platform to to seek justice”……........(Assanga) If your loved one was @ death’s door U would knock on every door in the village to seek help; NOT give up without ever trying.

Rejection of this

The Chinese have rejected all calls for independent monitors, and slammed the UN criticism of the situation in Tibet. So Mrs Pillay, what is to be done, what next?

Pressure on China from all sides- especially UN
Nov 06 2012 09:06 AM
Pressure on China is an important tool, especially from UN. I am happy this time around- thanks to our Povos and Pamons i Tibet- UN has responded approperiatly.
There was a time when some of our Dharamsala heavy weights pooh-poohed UN as useless platform to to seek justice. Wrong.

I am sure part of the requirement for this type of UN position requires the individual to remain detached. However without some allowance of the mind to "put yourself in other shoes", or" what would I feel if this were happening to me", the person will never generate enough compassion which is the driving force needed to end this Tibetan suffering

What is the Grievance???
Nov 03 2012 11:23 PM
I have a duty to represent and speak on behalf of The Spirits of Special Frontier Force, the Tibetan freedom fighters who had sacrificed their lives during military action in Chittagong Hill Tracts to give Freedom to the people of Bangladesh during 1971. Tibetans are fighting for their political Freedom and they want to end the military occupation of Tibet. The grievance is not about attending worship service in a Buddhist temple. The problem is that of repression of Tibetan Nationalism. Tibet is a Free Country and Tibetans are simply frustrated about sixty years of Chinese occupation.
