Subject: India should take the opportunity of holding Tewang now.
Sep 08 2012 09:45 AM

Pt. Nehru's selfish political decision to resolve Sino-India problem at the cost of surredering Tibet into devil's mouth brought huge unexpected defence expenditure for India more than six decades and will go further if Indian government stick on same track. The India can take the opportunity of tense situation in Tibet today and change it's foreign policy on Tibet to gain confidence of holding partial southern Tibet which it had occupied in 1950. However, the present policy allows China to have legitimate right of demanding Tawang area as a part of Tibet with the evidence of Tibet's historical fact and also it gives no value for 1914 Shimla Agreement. The choice is in hands of India to become winner or real loser. If Tibet is free, the Arnuchal will always remain part of India but it depends on India's foreign policy on Tibet issue. When and how long India wants China to dictate on her and act according to the drum plays by China.
