During difficult periods of modern history, Swiss people maintained their neutrality to ease tensions and to promote peace. Switzerland has become the home to International Red Cross which plays a vital role in all conflict zones and other calamities.United Nations is shaped by the support extended by Swiss people. There are several good reasons to be thankful to Swiss people and celebrate the rich humanitarian traditions of Swiss Nation. Switzerland symbolizes Heaven on Earth.
