It kindda smells like a trick to me....It is known that the chinese government has NOT changed it's mind about HH. So it seem's like a trick to find out who are the true followers of HH. DON'T FALL FOR IT !

My dear brothers and sisters in Tibet, this is a trick by the Chinese government to measure the depth of the water. Do not listen, and do not display Dalai Lama's pictures. If C.C.P so want, they should do this act of extra kindness through news media.Let the whole world know.If they do not do this through news media, then it is a trap. Do not go for it.Remember His Holiness at your heart.Do not deter from struggling for Tibet Independence!!!

They are simply trying to legitimize the chosing of the next Dalai Lama by patching up with the current Dalai Lama. But we are no fool.

When Mao was alive, he tricked so called counter-revolutionaries with an easy bait and fiinally exterminated them. How did he do it? He asked people to criticize the government and its policy or allowed to make any complaints if they have any, people genuinely thought he was sincere. The compalints and criticism on the government policy was so intense, then Mao and red guards arrested all the critics and tortured them to death or handed down life sentence.

Another scenario could be, just change of tactic and see what will follow. If it follows their own aimed objectives, then CCP will say, there is religous freedom in Tibet, so exiles should be shut up on it period, chapter closed. If with display of pic, follows more criticisim and demanding more freedom from Tibetans, then all the people who displayed will be arrested and tortured to death or life sentence in inhuman laogai!
If this forceful display of HHDL's picture is real, then CHinese government must release all those monks and lay Tibetans have been arrested on charges of possessing HHDL's picture and make a public apology and make necessary compensation for both physical as well as emotional torture and trauma. Grant compensation and make them accessible to full medical check-up. For those who died as a result of toture and impironment, a complete and detailed history about how they died while in prison and it should be submitted to all relevant international human rights advocay groups and those who are responsible will be punished in the international court of law. Then and only then, ccp's motive is pure and reliable and China could be redeemed itself from its own traumatic guilt in the conscience.

First of all it is auspicious and good news, and secondly they want to find out how many of Tibetan are truly devoted to HHDL, and thirdly it can be the trick practiced by Mao with the sympathizers of democratic ways in his own party!

In reality PRC will gain a lot if they truly change their mentality and accept the middle way policy of His Holiness the Dalai Lama for the mutual benefit of Tibetans and Chinese citizens, they have nothing to loose! they will be applauded as whole world wants a big change in China!
