The envoys are being given a dog & pony show by China to show how benevolent the Chinese Empire is towards its minorities. But this show fools no one. Minorities, including Tibetans, are repressed in this Han dominated country where minorities can dress up & dance & sing but are not allowed to control their own lands or their own economies or their own culture/religion w/o oversight by the Han Chinese.

The PRC doesn't want minorities who think for themselves. They only want happy, obedient minorities. In the end, they don't even care whether minorities are happy, they only want them obedient.

I think if chinese counterpart take our envoys to tour some zoos and casinos as well, the tour would be more fun.

How many more tours are still left to go?
wish you all good tour, have fun.

What's the purpose of this visit? To show how other ethnic minorities and flourishing in China? We don't want material progress!! We can make our own wealth. We want freedom. We want our land back. We want our houses back. We want to do whatever we please with our property. However we choose to handle with our resources is our right. China has no control over our resources. Please stop the relocation of Tibetan nomads into a compound with free boarding but no food. How are they going to survive? Is the Chinese communist party (ruled by bunch of thugs in my humble opinion)going to train these Tibetan nomads to do factory work? Is China spending money to build businesses in Tibet? Except for tourism of course, which is a shame that the Potala palace, the office of Dalai Lama has been converted into a money making museum. Shame on China. It's time to rise up people!

In the first place, our envoys should not be in China negotiating with "communist" Chinese.

Secondly, I hope they don't fall for the ruse. Because if they do, they are that much more greater fools.
