India should have learnt from the way China said one thing and did exactly the other in relation to Tibet. Nehru had convinced himself that China won’t enter Tibet. He and K. M Panikkar, his ambassador in Peking, continued to maintain that an invasion of Tibet was highly unlikely...

As arun shourie has rightly wrote in his book with apt titled "Are we Deceiving Ourselves Again?
Lessons the Chinese Taught Pandit Nehru but which we Still Refuse to Learn.
Pandit nehru had made mistakes and it is evident from the statement made by Sardar Patel when he said to Nehru "even though we regard ourselves as friends of China, the Chinese do not regard us as their friends". So it is high time that Indian should make an effort to press their leaders not to make any more mistake entrusting faith to the Chineses govt.
This Book is really a good effort by such an eminent personality like Arun Shoure. I look forward to read this book. And i really reccomend and suggest esp indians to read this.
regards and with hope that Indian govt esp Congress wakes up.
