Subject: What about Tibetan rights?

Why is it that the CTA is willing to acquiesce to Chinese demands made upon His Holiness while China is unwilling to concede even respecting the basic human rights of Tibetans such as freedom of speech & religion.

Just recently, TCHRD reported that 4 Tibetans were arrested by China b/c they recommended Tibetans not have a summer festival in light of the political crackdown throughout Tibet & the massacre of Tibetan protestors. They were arrested for exercising their legally protected right of free speech.

Why doesn't the CTA demand that China respect int'l law & the PRC Constitution if it is going to agree to Chinese demands?

Is the job of this Solidarity Committee ensuring that desperate Tibetans don't upset Beijing regime and most importantly Beijing olympic?
If so then they have really lost the sight of Tibetan people's aspiration.
