The Nepalese officials , by their actions are supporting a brutal treatment of peaceful protesters unheard of in a CIVILIZED society. What a shame they are under the thumb of such an abysmally ignorant regime as the present Chninese govt.

Read the story on Phayul.com of the Tibetan woman who succumbed to torture....this was a mother of four children who was so severly tortured that she later died,,,she was refused hospitalization! Nepal has entered the Dark Ages....it has lost its integrity and compassion.

I was also aghast to learn that the Nepalese security forces along with the Chinese had been armed with sniper rifles with the orders to shoot to kill ( if " necessary" ) ANY protesters who might find their way out of severe clampdown in the Everest area to protest the torch desecration on Mt. Everest

China has also ordered US owned hotels in China to install Internet filters so that International guest during the Olympoics can be spied on.....unbleivable, but true! ( press release from the office of the Republican senator Sam Brownback.

I appreciate from the bottom of my heart the courfage of the pro Tibet sup;p;orters in Nepal....I can hardly bear to think of what happens to them when they are in the prison cells. I send you all my love, and support.
