I think there should be a full on boycott, but that isn't going to happen. So all athletes should show conviction and while there in Beijing show your support to those under the Chinese governments iron grip. Protest t-shirts, raised fist, speech,etc.. Take it as an opportunity to show your views on human rights violations. Our governments don't care, money is all the Olympics are about!

I agree with you Bu....I am ashamed of the country of my birh. This is just 1 more example of why so many Brits choose to live outside the UK.(myself included) I'm actually shocked that any western democratic nation that so openly opposes any restriction on free speech can themselves impose such a gag order on its own people! What an unbearable additional pressure to put on the athletes......
