a leader don't gather all the people in a crowd and push it off the cliff as TYC president KP did in new delhi on the 8th august 2007.

his much circulated speech in CD through thru a wide network of TYC was his urgent call and then when it came to delivery, he disappionted all, creating much mistrust on TYC.

ultimately, its TYC that will suffer. KP will simply pass as another TYC president in the histroy.

I saw the DVD of TYC President's appeal. I find him a leader in the making. He makes lots of sense to me.

It, however, saddens me to read some irrelevent comments here by otherwise English writing youths. In a public forum like phayul, we must learn correct ways of expressing one's agreement or disagreement by not resorting to personal attacks.

After more than 40 years of 100% free educational opportunities, it is time we have serious people in leadership.

TYC leaders left me nowhere. I am very sad. They had all the budgets, man and everything but they called off the mass movement just like that. Kelsang phuntsok, never ever think that you will get vote from me to get a seat in chitue.

This is the most ineffective TYC leadership. Don't repeat such blunder again.

I am very positive on TYC calling off the Indefinite Hunger Strike. After all that is HH D Lama’s command.

But I feel calling off doesn’t mean that TYC do not abide by the commitment. In fact organization of TYC and all the Pro-Tibet group gained the important knowledge that All the Tibetan are immensely committed for free Tibet with their time, money and heart. Which is very crucial for further movement.

Thank you TYC and Keep on and my blood is always there !

The TYC mass movement was just a mass movement of patriotic Tibetans from different parts of Nepal and India to Delhi. TYC promised a lot at the fund raising events in the Tibetan Settlements in South India. Nothing was kept. All these people were left to fend for themselves. My friends and relatives who travelled to Delhi to participate saw no leadership and plan of action. They were very disappointed and lost trust in the leadership of TYC. One of them said " They choked in their own vomit"

I think I will ask TYC to refund my donation. All Tibetans should ask for refunds. If we do that, they will be more responsible and accountable next time.
