Seeing no articles are appearing here about the Olympics and the campaign to boycott them, I'm commenting on an article that doesn't speak about them here.

So here it is :

"Boycott the Chinese Olympics"

Buddha said to reject sports as he saw this as showing the evil of Samsara. He tamed the conceited by defeating them in sports and then rejecting this activity along with the rest of worldly activites.

Thiat is so important because it is one of the Twelve Deeds of his Life.

Here is a link to sportspeople rejecting the Olympics themselves and the article says in language similar to that in which Buddha did, that these sportspeople are so stupid that usually they only speak about themselves and their salaries.

How NBA star Ira Newble became a Darfur activist.

Talking with sports writers about professional athletes, and NBA players in particular, has been an eye-opener for me. Their disappointment with these gifted young men--nearly all in their twenties and early thirties--is palpable. Not in their physical prowess, of course, but over their lack of interest in anything but themselves and their salaries. Which is why whenever they do something off the court worthy of note, it's headline news. So it was that Ira Newble, reserve small forward for the Cleveland Cavaliers, became, in sports pages around the country, the most celebrated basketball player in America. ...

Geir > : By boycotting the Olympics one is serving Tibet, but also this is in accord with Buddhas deep will. Buddha said to reject conceit such as sportspeople have because the whole will of sportspeople is to win and prove they are better than the competition, which is not Buddhist unless it is to prove the truth. Sports is nothing but deceit, lying, doping and corruption and has been the trademark of all dictatorships from Hitler to the Communist nations that won, as for them, due the massive doping of their athletes whose healths are now all ruined and the lives devastated. Sportspeople in the West likewise are ruined for the rest of their lives, due to their expremely high ratio of injury, as compared to normal people, due to doping, and due to the extreme wearing of their bodies, that cannot handle the stress and break down much earlier than others. Rare are athletes that can live healthy, long and problem-free lives.

Not only is boycotting the Olympics in China good for morality, but also it is good for stopping and contesting sports un-Buddhist morals; and furthermore, it blocks the fascist mentality of sports and Communism - which seeks to surpass and beat competitors and which the Communists want to use to exert their influence on the rest of the world and beat them at sports.

Let's be smart and beat them : BOYCOTT THE OLYMPICS IN BEIJING !

Ruin their PR efforts and ruin their receiving of the world in their dark little nightmare that they want to dress up for showing like an illusion-play, full of deceit.

Expose the liars !

The long dark nightmare of Chinas sixty years of night, will be revealed and cleared up by making the Olympics a PR nightmare for the ignorant and misunderstanding Chinese.

Despite the fact that the future of Tibet is heading more towards the direction of being assimilated into China, the truth must never be forgotten. The truth is once Tibet was a sovereign nation, and Tibet's geographical location, race, language and culture enjoys a unique place in the world.

It gave me immense pleasure and pride to visually see and study the passport of Tibet. I had now framed it and hung on my livingroom wall beside the Tibetan national flag.
But I don't get it, why it took so long for anyone to publish it on internet?
