Subject: uk tibetans celebrate dalai lama's b'day

I heard from an english associate that the venue was full of sleeping Tibetans, bored to rest by a rambling and soporific address by one Sonam Frasi. I gather he spoke for nearly an hour! Seems Frasi was peddling the usual defeatist line of accomodate the Chinese, compromise, accept autonomy. In other words abandon your nation, surrender your national identity, submit to Chinese rule and be happy being an ethnic minority! Frasi is nothing less than a traitor, seems once upon a time he used to talk about Tibetan independence. That's in the past now he's got the cushy job in Dharmsla. My informant also tells me when he first ran for election in Europe he deliberately (And without their knowledge) put his aganda/manefesto onto official Tibetan Community headed paper and circulated that to Tibetans across Europe, to imply he was somehow endorsed by all English Tibetans. Naughty-naughty Mr. Frasi!!!!!! When Tibet gets it's Rangzen back people like you will be remembered for what you DID NOT DO!
