I can empathize with Gyari when he made it known to us all about his appreciation of the leadership of Samdong Rinpoche and respect he has for him. But what about the respect he has for His Holiness and us Tibetan who is desperately looking for alternative leader for very very obvious reasons. I am sure Gyari with all his experience could provide good leadership to us so i strongly feel that whether he wanted to fight for the Kalon Trip post or not if he is nominated by the public in the preliminary round of election he should not withdraw from the final round like he did last time. If he does this time as well i strongly feel that he is failing in his duty as a citizen of Tibet to shoulder the responsibility and this will amount to disrespect to His Holiness and us.

The history always repeats itself.During the period of Culture Revolution, many young uneducated chinese peasants under the influence of Mao attacked the educated intellectual section of the chinese society. You know what they did ? They brought back the whole China behind the modern civilisation by almost 30
years.Mao himself was not all intellectual, without any university degree.
Now these young uneducated tibetans are doing the same thing, attacking intellectuals and successful citizins of Tibet.

Its a lie to say that Lobsang's sis is married to a bhutanes infact she us married to a nice tibetan guy and lives in Boston. As far as i know Dr. Lobsang Sangay does not charge any money for giving speech on Tibet. I know this since i myself invited him to my college wihtout giving any fees and also by some of frds to their school to raise awareness abt TIbet. Some big rich universities might give him honorium which is a general practice in United states. If Dr. Lobsang gets few thousands for his speech, so what, he deserves it! Bill Clinton gets over two hundred thousand. I consider Dr. Lobsang a selfless and dedicated role model for the younger generation. Every month here in Boston, he organizes panel discussion on TIbet. For details, visit the website of Tibetan Association of Boston for TIBETAN LECTURE SERIES: http://www.bostontibet.org/2005%20Exe%20TAB%20member/Lecture%20series%20of%20TAB.

Its appropriate when you dress up in civil clothes still we are saying Rinpoche. Think "W"! He tank is full enouge with Greens now its Lobsang Sangye turn. He is charging thousand and thousand of dollars for speechs on tibet when universities requested. Usually, he makes more than $125 per hour, Think! Now Gyari and Lobsang sangya has one in common that is Gyari daughter and Lobsang Sangya younger sister both married to Bhutanese. So they both have to eat chilly foods and urinate like men. Tradition!

Gyari Rinpoche 'never aspired' to date, but he may aspire on a day of his choosing. He ruled out his standing in the forthcoming elections (plural is for the primary and actual stage of the process) for Katri. GR has not ruled out his candidature for all time to come. There lies the crux of the matter.

Subject: Essential to write autobiography.
Nov 06 2005 04:19 AM

I remember that His Holiness raised public interest to write autobiography of each Tibetan from all different provinces through which we can learn many things from our historical facts retrospectively.

In terms of that Gyari Rinpochi should definitely write his autobiography because he has held many different roles in various Tibetan departments, and also is one of the potential personality who have seen first ever Communist Chinese intruders in Tibet among his generation those who raise up in India.

He is the team leader of representatives who have direct contact with Chinese counterpart of negotiation team. Therefore his autobiography would highlight the history of His Holiness genuine effort of resolving our issue through peaceful means.

So writing an autobiography is not a mere right of the author rather it helps in developing our history. I don't understand why some comrades are not understanding the issue, and oppose his publication.
