I thought the hall was full but ultimately it is Public Relation's responsibility. Who ever the public relation is should take charge and advertise these duchens and partys. I didn't see flyers at Agu Pema calling card, so who ever the Public relations officer is should work harder next time.

These new board are with so much ego but no experience. TYC was really good when Kunga was the President. These new people are a shame for TYC. These guys should consult with Kunga and other former board. Ego is their problem. Wake up guys.

The event was a flop. No more half of hall was empy. No public. People who were there are the parents of the sunday school and their kids. 90 % of the public were not informed of the event. The disco was a big flop. Everyone hated it. I couldn't find one person who was happy with the party. So, figure it our yourself...

It is sad that majority of the audience dont seem to listen to what speakers have to say. It sounds as if they were there only to watch the cultural song/dance items and have party. This is not right. They must also know the importance of the Day and should think how best they could contribute towards the Tibetan cause. Yes, it is also true that many of these speakers are not good speakers, they take too long to address their message. Next time they should come prepared and speak to the point so that the audience dont get bored of the repetitions.

Subject: WHY PROGRAM IS LATE ALWAYS
Sep 08 2005 08:39 PM

TO BE HONEST ITS TOO LATE TO START THE CULTURAL PROGRAM AND TOO MUCH SPEACH I MEAN REPEATING SAME THE SPEACH AGAIN AND AGAIN. PEOPLE FALLING ASLEEP.WHENEVER WE TIBETAN GET CHANCE TO TALK ON THE STAGE THEY ALWAYS TAKE ADVONTAGE AND TAKE LONG TIME WHICH IS NOT GOOD FOR THE PUBLIC. TALK LESS AND WORK MORE THEN PEOPLE WILL COME AND SUPPORT YOU ANY TIME. IF YOU GUYS KEEP DOING THAT ONE DAY THE PEOPLE WILL GET TIRED AND THEN THEY WILL NOT COME TO LITSEN THE SPEACH ANY MORE. PLEASE TRY TO UNDERSTAND THE PUBLIC TOO. THANKYOU.

The crowd was not the smallest, it was average. The program was good. The speakers were good.
