the question at present in our democratic system is not the young or older people for candidate in the assembly, i think the whole system of election like distribution of M.P seat based on the region in tibet and on religion sect is misleading. these people cannot represent the people they stand for. Neither they dont have any manifesto for their election. we cannot elect people judging from their personality or past records. it should be actually based on what is going to do (the future plan) besides, people from one region cannot vote the other region, youngsters, we are in exile we dont have regions. all we have is the scattered settlements, so the seat for election should be based on settlements for better representation. and yes two votes for monks and one vote for lay people is all discrimination of political rights. think about it. this is the bigger issue not the young or old. i hope you all will support me and looking forward to hear from you all irrespective of old and youth. thank you

Congratulations for graduating to a sensible , responsible Tibetans. Idea is good but it would have been excellent if these very peole whose names has been suggested , formed a Tibetan Freedom Party. That would have sent the right signals and touched each and every sensible , responsible Tibetans who want to fight only for the FREEDOM OF TIBET. God bless you all anyway.

Hi Mr Kalsang Phuntsok,

I am very surprise to see your list of coming ATPD candidate. Are you Mad or you are GYUKHI of Chinese. What good thing you have done during your period of TYC President?? Don't try to make more controversies between our community.

I am going to reject the following nominee's from your list:

Karma Chhoepel - Most conversial person
Lhasang Tsering and Doeth Puppet
B Tsering -Uncapable, misusing
power. Fullbright
controvercies.
Gyalnor Tsewang - Uneducated

I am missing following ladies from Nepal qwho has done lots for the Tibetan society.

Mrs Phurbu Dolma - Vice President TWA
Dechen Tsomo - Former TYC Member
Dolma Tsomo - Current Dometh Chithu

Thanks

Subject: Are you TYC or another running-dog?
Sep 08 2005 08:30 AM

Some big questions need to be asked here
1.Who says " Youth For Better MPs" is TYC??
2.Who says YFBM represents youth of Tibet?.

3.Why should they hide their indentity?. This alone shows how imature and stupid these people are. Youth should be bold, honest, straight forward and direct in approach.

If it TYC behind this campaign, why should they hide behind this unknown identity?. Why can't TYC make use of it's popularity and contacts to the fullest use, then behaving like a running-dog.

I am also surprised to see names like Gyalnor Tsewang and B.Tsering in U-tasng List. GT is a well used door-mate. He still does not realise that. He is best as a businessman and a benevolent donor. This saying goes " a snow lion is snowlion if it takes it's abodes in the snow mountains- no sooner it lands up in the plain, it becomes a dog"

B.Tsering-- the most controvertial lady of today. Her link with TCV biggies and by extension with XYZ must be the
x-factor for the inclusion. She will never click with poeple like Karma chhophel. By same logic, I suspect this is a perfect list.

I think TYC should remain NGO and continue with their good work, please, stop getting involved in Dhasa politics until and unless someone up there is holding the string and TYC is dancing acordingly.
